Pentec Health and Vital Care Infusion Services to Join NHIA Board of Directors
Alexandria, VA (March 25, 2025) The National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) announces two new companies will join its 2024-2025 Board of Directors. Board members serve 3-year terms as representatives for their NHIA member organization. Joining the NHIA Board of Directors are:
- Pentec Health, represented by Matthew Deans, CEO. Pentec is national provider specializing renal nutrition and intrathecal home infusion with plans to expand the home infusion market by bringing novel treatments to the home setting. In doing so, they have invested in developing a 36,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with unique capabilities that will allow them to touch unique segments of the market. Pentec team members participate in NHIA committees and shared their knowledge through NHIA educational programs, poster abstracts, and publications.
- Vital Care, represented by Logan Davis, Executive VP of Trade Relations and Strategy. Vital Care, a national provider with 135 active home infusion pharmacy and ambulatory infusion suites, is a rapidly expanding franchised provider with 42 more locations in development. The company’s tenure in the industry dates back to 1986 and has long-time member of NHIA. Over the years, many Vital Care staff have participated in NHIA committee work—including the Board of Directors and Government Affairs Committee—and shared their knowledge through NHIA educational programs and publications. The company has also been highly engaged in NHIA advocacy efforts. hosting members of Congress for site visits of their facilities and participating in Capitol Hill days.
In addition to the newly installed members, Upstate Home Care, Froedtert Health, and Amerita were elected to additional terms.

Rolling off the NHIA Board will be Past Board Chair Tim Affeldt representing Fairview Pharmacy Services and Leena Samuel, representing Paragon Healthcare, Inc. “Thank you to these individuals for their service in advancing the home and alternate site infusion industry. And a special appreciation to Tim Affeldt for his many years on the NHIA Board and his leadership as Board Chair,” said Sullivan. “He has been an incredible partner in our legislative efforts and in fortifying the association’s vision for the future.”
The 2025-2026 Board of Directors will be installed at the NHIA Annual Conference held in Washington, D.C. March 29 – April 2.
